1. The appearance are classified into sub-forging molybdenum rod and polished molybdenum rod.  Sub-forging molybdenum rod's surface allows mild oxidative see and forging marks; polished molybdenum rod's surface is of metallic lusterand no significant oxidation. 2.  According to the different chemical composition and use,  grades are classified  into 3 grades: GMPM.-1G MHLM.-2, GMHYM-3 . 3. Use GMPM. 1  is for the manufacture of electric vacuum parts, rod, electrode, export lines, heating and other electronic components. GMHI. If there are special requirements, both sides can negotiate. 7. During storage and transportation, molybdenum rod should be protected from moisture and violent collision. Products should be stored in a ventilated and dry acid-free atmosphere to prevent oxidation. Storage had better not be more than 6 months.

Black - Surface is "as swaged" or "as drawn"; retaining a coating of processing lubricants and oxides.

Ground - Surface is processed by grinding machine to remove all coating and to achieve precise diameter control.Main application: mainly used for electric vacuum components and electric light source parts
